In terms of exterior design, we wanted a more sensual car, keeping of course all the necessary dynamism and energy of all Peugeot 2 series. The morphology of the Peugeot 208 has changed: it is 7 cm shorter than the 207, 1 cm lower, and the window pillars have been put forward to give this very specific "energy ball" posture.
The interior design serves the new driving position with "head-up instrument panel", both pure and sophisticated. The driving position provides such new sensations that the claim "let your body drive" appeared to us as obvious. The driver can easily read the informations on the intrument panel, the small steering wheel falls naturally to hand, the touch screen is very intuitive. This feeling of being completely one with the car has inspired this claim.
